Victim Information Notification Everyday

VINELink is a national website that allows victims of crime — and the general public — to obtain information about the custody of an offender housed in a county jail or state correctional facility, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In addition to providing custody status information to VINELink registrants, there is an automatic notification feature. Crime victims that register with VINELink will be notified of an offender’s custody status. This feature eliminates the need for victims to call the police or The Office of the Hudson County Prosecutor to verify the offender’s status. Protecting and vindicating victims is a core purpose of our work.

Additionally, VINELink offers a confidential service that provides victims and witnesses with information on changes in the custody status of aliens, allowing these individuals to have a sense of security. VINELink can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week in order to provide the most reliable information on custody-status changes.
