WEST NEW YORK MAN ARRESTED ON CHARGES HE SEXUALLY ASSAULTED A MINOR GIRL

Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has released the following information:

On Thursday, June 10, 2021, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested Elver Rosario, age 22, of West New York, on charges that he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old female he met through social media.

Rosario has been charged with Sexual Assault in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2c(4), a crime of the second degree; Endangering the Welfare of a Child in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1), a crime of the third degree; and Criminal Sexual Contact in violation N.J.S.A. 2C:14-3B, a crime of the fourth degree. Rosario was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Jersey City just after 5 p.m. without incident.

Prosecutor Suarez credited the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit for the investigation and arrest.
