Following the preliminary investigation, on June 14, the child’s mother, Tracey Mitchell, age 23, of 407 Union St., Jersey City, was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child (second degree) in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C24-4. Bail was set at $150,000 cash or bond.
An ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.
