HUDSON COUNTY PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING REPORT OF SEXUAL ASSAULT ON WARNER AVENUE IN JERSEY CITY

Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has released the following information:

On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at approximately 2:30 a.m., members of the Jersey City Police Department and the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit responded to a report of a sexual assault at knifepoint on Warner Avenue and Ocean Avenue in Jersey City. The victim, a 37-year-old woman, was treated at Christ Hospital.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are actively investigating this case. No arrests have been made at this time.
