PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE TO PARTICIPATE IN NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has announced that Hudson County Prosecutor Office employees will be volunteering at the National Night Out festivities in five of the local Hudson County municipal celebrations on Tuesday, August 2, 2016.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood interaction in the hope that neighborhoods in Hudson County and across America will be safer places to live.

HCPO volunteers will be providing Child Fingerprinting for Parent Retention and handing out various promotional items for families and participants at the National Night Out programs in Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City, North Bergen and Secaucus.

A majority of the Hudson County municipalities will be participating in National Night Out and many of the local police departments will provide safety information or perform such services as free child car seat inspections. All municipal events will include family-oriented festivities with such as entertainment, games, music, giveaways, various refreshments, and more.
