Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez released the following information pertaining to the fatal shooting on Orient Avenue in Jersey City on November 17, 2015. No additional information is available at this time.

Time: Approximately 12:10 a.m.
Location: 106 Orient Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey.
Type of Weapon(s): firearm(s)
Victim: Rondell Fairley, age 20, of Jersey City, New Jersey

On November 17, 2015, at approximately 12:10 a.m., Jersey City Police were dispatched to 106 Orient Avenue in Jersey City on a report of a shooting. Police discovered the victim in front of 106 Orient Avenue with an apparent gunshot wound(s) to his mid-section. The victim was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 1:15 a.m. No arrests have been made in connection with the homicide. A motive has not been identified.
