Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez released the following information:

On February 7, 2016, at approximately 8:10 P.M., Jersey City Police were dispatched to the area of Martin Luther King Drive and Oak Street in Jersey City on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police found the victim, Christopher Jackson-Terry, age 24, in the front seat of a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wound(s) to the upper part of his body. The victim was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 8:43 P.M.

No arrests have been made in connection with the homicide. The Prosecutor’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the case with assistance from the Jersey City Police Department.
