26-YEAR-OLD WILLINGBORO MAN FOUND FATALLY SHOT IN GRAND STREET APARTMENT IN HOBOKEN

Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has released the following information:

On Friday, August 7, 2020, just after 10:30 p.m., members of the Hoboken Police Department responded to an apartment at 300 Grand Street on a report of deceased male.

Responding officers found the victim, a 26-year-old Willingboro, N.J. man, later identified as Marquise Davis, with apparent gunshot wound(s) to the upper body. The victim was pronounced deceased at 10:52 p.m. at the scene of the shooting. The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Hoboken Police Department are actively investigating this case. No arrests have been made at this time.
