Elder Fraud Seminar To Be Held On Tuesday, March 28


ELDER FRAUD SEMINAR TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MARCH 28

Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has announced that the Office of the Hudson County Prosecutor is hosting a free workshop for the residents of Hudson County on Tuesday, March 28, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Peace Care at St. Ann’s.

The workshop, “Seniors Be Aware…Fraud Affects Us All,” will be presented by Detective Josue Martinez of the Office of the Hudson County Prosecutor who will be joined by a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and a Postal Inspector of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. The workshop will explain the necessary steps of how to protect yourself and secure your records including such topics as identity theft, debt collection, investment fraud and scams.

Peace Care at St. Ann’s is located at 198 Old Bergen Road in Jersey City. The workshop is free and all residents are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
