BAYONNE MAN CHARGED WITH MAINTAINING A CDS PRODUCTION FACILITY AND POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE CDS

Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has released the following information:

On June 7, 2021, at approximately 12:45 p.m., members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force arrested a Bayonne resident without incident on Mechanic Street in Bayonne on charges involving controlled dangerous substances following an investigation.

Narcotics Task Force detectives arrested William Milner, age 39, and a search of his residence on Mechanic Street in Bayonne recovered approximately 123 grams of MDMA; approximately five grams of 2C-B, a Schedule I CDS; a small quantity of DMT, a Schedule I CDS; an undetermined quantity of LSD and 12 Marijuana plants.

Milner has been charged with Maintaining a CDS Production Facility in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-4, a first-degree crime; Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5a(1) and 2C:35-5b(10)(b), a second-degree crime; Possession of LSD with Intent to Distribute in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5a(1) and 2C:35-5b(7), a second-degree crime; Possession of MDMA with Intent to Distribute in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5a(1) and 2C:35-5b(4), a second-degree crime; Possession of 2C-B, a Schedule I CDS, with Intent to Distribute in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5a(1) and 2C:35-5b(5), a third-degree crime; Possession of DMT, a Schedule I CDS, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1), a third-degree crime; and four counts of Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute within 1,000 feet of a school in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-7, crimes of the third degree.

Prosecutor Suarez credited members of the Narcotics Task Force with the investigation and arrest and the United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations, the United States Postal Inspection Service and the Bayonne Police Department for assisting with the investigation.

The above charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty. R.P.C. 3.6(b)(6).
